Negotiating left hand bends
On the approach you should be in the correct position, travelling at a safe speed, with the correct gear engaged for that speed.
As you approach the bend you should aim to keep a constant speed through the bend and look ahead to the exit to the bend to see where your next hazard is.
The rule is that you must be able to stop safely on your own side of the road in the distance you can see to be clear.
